Stem Kit Challenge for High School and College Students
Calling all high school and college students!
Do you like coming up with fun ideas?
Do you have ideas on how to have fun with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math?
Do you want to help advance and empower middle school students, age 13 and older, in STEM?
Are you a high school or college student or know one that would be interested in the AWAF STEM Kit CHALLENGE?
If you answered “yes” to all of the above, AWAF is looking for you to participate in the AWAF STEM KIT CHALLENGE.
The AWAF STEM KIT CHALLENGE invites high school and college students to submit their STEM KIT ideas. One idea will be selected and may be rolled out to middle school students, age 13 or older, to engage them in STEM initiatives.
SELECTION PROCESS & PRIZES
Those that participate in the AWAF STEM KIT CHALLENGE will form a team of 1 to 4 and will create a STEM kit at a material cost of no more than $25. A panel of AWAF judges will review the finished STEM kits and select one STEM kit as the winner of the AWAF STEM KIT CHALLENGE. Read complete rules, terms and agreement.
PRIZES:
The opportunity to earn 10 to 20 hours of community service
A $100 Amazon gift card.
The winning STEM kit may be created in bulk and delivered to a group of middle school students, age 13 or older at a select middle school.
If the winning STEM kit is created and distributed, the winning team will have the option of having their name, along with the name of AWAF and the name of any sponsor(s) on the STEM kit.
