Volunteer with AWAF

AWA Foundation is seeking among our members, the nomination of a candidate to serve as Chairperson – Membership, a two-year term, on our 2022 Board of Directors.  If you are interested, email us at [email protected]  by Wednesday, November 10, 2021 and we will contact you. 

Do you want to do some volunteering in 2022 with an AWAF committee?  Whatever your interest, skillsets, or time limitations, we can use your help to make a difference in 2022!  Email us at [email protected] and let us where you want to help and we will personally contact you.

Committee volunteers needed for:

Alliances – support chairpersons with activities related to building alliances with suppliers, OEMs and other industry organizations

Coaching – support chairpersons in activities related to personal and professional growth among membership and guests

Golf-support chairpersons for our annual and largest fund raiser golf outing

Marketing – support chairpersons with social media strategy, implementation, increasing exposure and public awareness of our purpose, activities, and our quarterly on-line newsletter

Membership – support chairpersons for the recruitment of new members, retention of members, and identify membership value, dissatisfaction, and improvements

Mentoring – support chairpersons in activities related to mentors and mentees in a structured program that runs from May to September

Professional Development – support chairpersons with activities related to relevant topics, providing members the opportunities to enhance their careers and career path  

Programs (Events) – support chairpersons to successfully launch events throughout the year for our members and guests

Scholarship – support chairpersons with the scholarship application review process and build relationships at local colleges and universities to promote the scholarship offerings.

Sponsorship – support chairpersons with identifying corporate and individual sponsors to participate as partners with our foundation supporting scholarships and various events throughout the year.
