STEM Kit Challenge Winner

Congratulations Katelyn!

AWAF would like to announce that Katelyn Ho is the 2020 STEM Kit Challenge winner!  Ho is a 14-year-old freshman at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York.  Her winning entry to create the Icosahedron Origami Ball, is now being tested by high school students in Michigan and may be created in bulk and delivered to a group of middle school students, age 13 or older at a select middle school(s) later this later.<.

Kudos to Ho for her winning effort to help advance and empower middle school students, age 13 and older, in STEM.  In addition to receiving a Certificate of Community Service, she also received a $100 Amazon gift card.  To read more about Ho and her STEM kit project read here.  .
