Call for Mentors for Scholarship Recipients
Posted by RA on 04/28/2025 3:27 pm
We’re excited to share that we have numerous scholarship recipients this summer who are eager to participate in the AWAF Mentorship Program. We’re currently seeking AWAF members to be mentors who are willing to support and guide these bright, aspiring women in the automotive industry.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please respond to Anand Gandhi ([email protected]) by May 9th to confirm your participation. Once we receive your response, we will send you a calendar invite to our virtual Mentorship Program Kickoff, which will take place at the end of May.
Goals of the Orientation:
- Understand the structure and expectations of the AWAF Mentorship Program
- Define what mentorship means in this context: a committed, supportive relationship where the mentor acts as a trusted guide and advisor
- Clarify mentor responsibilities and what to expect from the experience
- Hear from experienced AWAF mentors who will share their stories and advice
- Participate in a Q&A to help prepare for a successful mentoring relationship
We hope you’ll consider joining us in this impactful initiative. Your time and experience can make a lasting difference in the professional journeys of our scholarship recipients.
