Scholarship Courtesy of Johnson Controls, Inc. Tracy enters her freshman year at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. Tracy wants to be on the brink of new technology that will change the next generation of the automotive industry. She uncovered a new interest in the automotive world while working on a high school science project: CO2 emissions filtration system using lithium hydroxide and sodium zeolites. For the past three years, she has continued to study the engineering of a filtration system to emit clean exhaust. She has won numerous science fair awards, along with academic achievement awards. Her community involvement includes volunteering at a local hospital, participating in fund raiser events, and is the founder of the Junior High Science Fair Mentoring Program in her community. Tracy hails from Fort Madison, Iowa.
