Ms. Michelle Tomi Zirngibl

Michelle is the President of the SWE Kettering chapter and is currently working on her internship at GM Pontiac while attending school. She has received many awards including Who’s Who among American Students, National Honor society, Building with Books Global Impact award. She participated in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) org. and helped design, build and complete a robot to compete in FIRST and her team won. Michelle will continue her education after her ME degree by pursuing her professional engineer title. After that, she plans to earn and MBA and open her own engineering business and specialize in winter testing for four wheel drive and all wheel drive components. She is excited about the automotive industry and its dynamics and wants to get other students excited about the future of cars and the industry. AWA is very happy to support Michelle’s efforts in her educational endeavors.
