Ms. Shelley Levesque

Shelley is studying automotive technology at the Baran's Institute of Automotive Technology in Connecticut. She was formerly a laboratory technician working in an oil company, and then her situation changed due to an injury. After recovery, she decided to follow her heart and work in automotive repair, because she truly loves fixing cars, and she believes female customer may prefer working with a female auto tech. She desires to base her future auto tech services business on respect for consumers and a no tolerance policy for condescension! She believes marketing auto repair to women is a ripe market, and she wants to pursue it. She will graduate with her Auto Tech degree in January 2006. Shelley is a trailblazer and AWAF supports her efforts with a scholarship.
