Roshay Timmons

Roshay is a sophomore attending Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio pursuing a degree in mechanical and manufacturing engineering with emphasis on automotive engineering.  Her automotive background includes STEM Project Lead the Way, Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPECP) where she studied Nissan vehicles inside/outside, Oakland University’s how to build engines, and explorer programs at FCA.

Roshay is currently the treasurer with the local chapter of Society of Manufacturing Engineering, the campus activity board treasurer and event planner, an active member of NSBE and the Student Government Association.  She is also a second-time scholarship recipient of AWAF.   Roshay’s next plan is to seek a summer 2017 internship in the automotive industry.  Her hometown is Farmington Hills, Michigan. The scholarship was sponsored by Cox Automotive.
