Alexandra is sophomore and a transfer student attending Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Michigan to study mechanical engineering. She recently interned with Eaton Corporation and worked with engine models and ran simulations to identify variants of performance quantities. She determined the results as compared to data collected from lab tests and presented the findings at the global level to engineering staff. This work experience solidified her decision to become a mechanical engineer and to be a part of innovating and designing new products using new technologies.
Alexandra transferred from Purdue University where she was a member of the Dean’s Leadership Group, won various scholarship awards, a member of the softball team and is now on the Oakland University Club softball team. She also works part-time in her hometown of Macomb, Michigan. The scholarship was sponsored by McKechnie Vehicle Components.
