Allison Scott is a sophomore at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, studying mechanical engineering. Her internship at OSU’s Center for Automotive Research (CAR) has increased her interest in the auto industry and she looks forward to contributing to its advancement. Allison participates in the Humanitarian Engineering Scholars Program at OSU, a highly selective program available to academically gifted and high achieving students that provides co-curricular programming around the theme of Humanitarian Engineering. Her advisor notes “her warm personality along with her inquisitive way of thinking has proven her to be a valuable member of this organization.” Allison was on the Dean’s List and also received the Outstanding Freshman Academic Achievement Award. Her hometown is Sharonville, Ohio. The scholarship was sponsored by The Ohio State University.
