Christina is a senior at Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, MI completing her degree in electrical engineering. In high school, she participated on the Innovative Vehicle Design team where they took a fuel powered go kart and converted it to a fully electrical system. Having many of her family members working in the automotive industry, Christina was intrigued by new technologies implemented in vehicles and wanted to be part of the opportunities that come with such innovations.
Christina interned at DTE Energy in data quality management and most recently, two rotations at BAE Systems in electrical engineering. At LTU, she was the past president of Society of Women Engineers, member of Eta Kappa Nu Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society, serves as a university resident assistant and does local community service in her spare time. Christina is our recipient of the AWA scholarship, dedicated in memory of Irma R Elder, a female pioneer of automotive dealerships. Her hometown is Sterling Heights, MI.
