Morgan is a senior at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio studying Industrial and Systems Engineering. Morgan found her calling in high school when she bought a broken down vehicle, repaired it with her father, and sold it for a profit. In 2007, she began her own small business to purchase, restore and sell power products and continues today with the business.
Morgan has interned at Toyota in Erlanger, KY in production control, logistics and service parts; Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, Barberton, OH in Manufacturing Engineering with an emphasis on kaizen, cycle time improvement; and most recently at Tesla Motors, Fremont, CA in Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering. Morgan wants to share her knowledge with young girls who aspire to work in the automotive industry and show them that when you set your mind on a goal, nothing can hold you back. Her hometown is Wapakoneta, Ohio. The scholarship was sponsored by Cooper Standard.
