Kristine Bartz

Kristine is a senior pursuing degrees in both electrical and mechanical engineering at Kettering University, Flint, Michigan.  Since her freshman year, she gained experiences in industry which include product and manufacturing engineering, purchasing, operations and testing.   Kristine is a cooperative education student at Nexteer Automotive in various areas relevant to the production of electric power steering systems for small and large vehicles. 

Kristine has many impressive awards including Congressional Medal of Merit from U.S. Congressman Mike Rogers, Scholastic Excellence Award from the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, is active in Alpha Sigma Alpha and a board member in the PanHellenic Council as Scholarship and Public Relations chair, and speaks Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.  She volunteers as a self-defense instructor in Tang Soo Do, Korean Martial Arts for women and children and is a student mentor.   Kristine’s hometown is Oxford, Michigan.
