Charon Morgan, Global Vehicle Engineering Operations Manager for General Motors Product Development and 2011 Past-Chair of the SAE Detroit Section. She currenlty is working on General Motors’ next generation of Midsize and Luxury vehicles, responsible for the global operations, budget and resources for the architecture. She has held numerous positions within the Detroit Section and SAE International. In 2008, Charon received SAE’s Outstanding Younger Member Award. She was the 2011 SAE Detroit Section Chair and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for SAE International, as well as the SAE Technical Standards Board and as the Chassis Systems Chair.
